Our School Program

St. Therese Catholic School is fully accredited by the NCEA (National Catholic Education Association) and the State of Indiana. Students in grades K-8 are offered a strong standards-based curriculum, taught by a dedicated and qualified staff. In addition to the basic subjects of Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies, we offer exceptional instruction in Art, Music, Physical Education, and Computers, with SmartBoards and wireless access for students in the classrooms. A full-time Resource Teacher is on staff to assist with gifted, special needs, and at-risk students.

Our Catholic Faith is incorporated into every school day:

  • Daily student rosary before school
  • Weekly whole-school Mass
  • Monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
  • Religion is taught daily in each classroom, emphasizing Catholic doctrine, the sacraments, scripture, prayer, and service to others

St. Therese also offers a variety of extra-curricular activities:

  • CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) sports program for grades 5-8: soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, softball, track and field
  • Choir: One Voice Children's Choir
